ALL SHADOWS FADE is the progressive metal/rock project from multi-instrumentalist/vocalist/song-writer Ryan Mark. When time isn't consumed by teaching music, working as a free-lance classical/jazz composer, or various live and session work; ASF is given life! Taking on this type of project alone is no easy task; but when it's a labor of love, it's all worthwhile. (Or maybe a sign of control-freak issues?)


After playing on stage and in studios since the age of 18, the time came to do a recording project which can best be described as a synthesis of progressive rock and modern hard rock/melodic metal; with elements of jazz, and ambient influences. Lyrically, the songs often deal with the battles against personal demons, finding hope/faith, and beyond.
