I have been working as a freelance magazine writer under various pen names for several years. A few years ago, God led me to write the book "Redeemed" ISBN 1-894928-75-X--a story of a young girl forced onto the streets of Toronto, Canada. This book takes the reader through life on the streets, the struggles of abuse and ultimate freedom in Christ.

And when I thought I was finished writing novels, I again found myself back at it--this time a conspiracy novel called "The Adam & Eve Project" ISBN 1-897373-01-5 and I received a spot on the publisher's top eight author list. This book is one of world intrigue beginning with WWII. It focuses on the conspiracies that are woven behind the scenes of government and how God is ultimately in control.

I have come to realize that God is leading me to continue to write my fiction novels with a strong faith message. "Vengence" ISBN: 1-897373-24-4--set on a cruise ship--was released in March 08 and was made the feature summer novel for Word Alive Press. They will be entering it into The Word Guild's contest for this year and feel it has a good chance of at least being shortlisted. We'll see what God has in mind.

But God had more plans for me in 2008. He allowed me to be a contributor to the anthology "Hot Apple Cider" which is sweeping across Canada. It is a book similar to the Chicken Soup series. It tells of heart-warming stories written by Canadian authors and published by That's Life!Communications. World Vision used the book for their "Girl's Night Out" events across Canada.

The Lord didn't stop there. January 2009 has found me as a creative writing instructor for a local college and a contributor to Cecil Murphey's next anthology "Christmas Miracles".

God has continued to fill my mind with the creating of novels like Rescued--a story that joins Pro-life and Pro-choice to fight a common enemy, and Vampire, a book that deals with the prejudice surrounding the illnesses of porphyria and the stygma that is a part of the disease. But he hasn't stopped there. In January of 09, I received confirmation of a new job--one of teaching creative writing at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. And if that wasn't enough, he has led me, in co-ordination with Filsinger publishing, to cut a CD of all the songs I have written over the past 30 years. Whew! It is exciting seeing what God can do in our lives.

The message of faith in Christ is written as plainly as I can. Having grown up thinking I was a Christian, I understand how easy it is to have religion instead of a relationship with Christ.
