Dineen A. Miller writes suspense novels, articles, and devotionals using her past experiences in service to God as a youth counselor and Stephen Minister. While living in Tennessee, she started a women's ministry program that still thrives today. In Europe, she helped establish small groups for the purpose of Bible study and fellowship as part of an international church. Her current passion is ministry to the unequally yoked.
She is also the owner of Designer Girl Graphics, which specializes in the design needs of writers and authors. Her most challenging adventures to date are being the mother of two teens, the wife of an avid disc golf player, and getting her first novel published.

Part of the heart message of Christ's ministry is new beginnings. One of our greatest benefits in salvation is that everyday is a chance start over. We're human, and we will undoubtedly mess up?daily even. But we have a God who loved so much that he...

The Question of the Ages

In Judges 6:13, Gideon asks God the question of the ages. "But sir," Gideon replied, "if the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us?"If we haven't asked it as some point in our lives, even as Christians, we've most definitely wondered about...

What's Your Story?

For the last two days I've read the story of Zechariah and his prophecy at the end of Luke 1. As a writer of fiction too, I tend to put myself in these stories and imagine the scene, the character motivations, and what those around them must have tho...

Hi Dineen,
I do like Stockton, not so hectic and the country side is nice but the weather gets hot in here. I do visit San Jose still for my favorite spots.
One day soon the whole earth will be a perfect Paradise and we can visit any place we want with no time limits... :-)
Praise the Lord.

I AM MY BELOVEDS AND HE IS MINE! Son. 6:3 Is this the reality that fills your life?
When ones heart welcomes Him to make His home there the light of His love shines upon them making them beautiful from the inside out!!
This may seem to be a hard word but it is the only way to walk in the presence and bounty of God's grace. Be not deceived by allowing the enemy to rob you of this truth! This is the pathway that allowed Jesus to successfully accomplish His divine mission of redemption for the lost! And it is the same trail that the redeemed must travel in order to live in the fullness of that which He purchased for us. To check the status of your relationship with the Master there is one question that must be ask! Are you eagerly putting God first?! Where does this rate among your list of must dos? See Matthew 22: 37-40. Are you fearing what the world fears or are your putting Him first and allowing Him to be the sanctuary of your life. Is He the one you fear or is it the world and your desire to make your mark in it? See Isaiah 8:12-14. Have you, by faith, worked your way through presumption and pride in order to always joyfully give Him first place in your life? Is it your mind, or the truth of God's word that you have hidden in your heart, that you trust to insure that your life's journey is that which the Lord has promised and desires for you? Do you truly seek the welfare and advancement of Him and His kingdom first before your other desires? There is a price to pay to be able to walk on holy ground and nestle safely under the shadow of the wings of the Almighty. Giving God only the crumbs of your life will not keep the bounty of His heavenly riches flowing in abundance toward you. His presence, power and provisions abide where He and His kingdom are made ones top priority in all things. See Matthew 6:33 and 34.
May your day overflow with the wisdom and insight, which will open those doors before you that can only be opened by our heavenly Father! And which cannot be shut by any another power! May your day resonate with beauty and your heart leap for joy as it beats as one with the Master's. Copyright © Sylvia F. Liani 2009

Together we are the garden in which God dwells. The family He cherishes. We are fellow workers (joint promoters working together, and with God, and for the glory of our Lord. Joint heirs with Jesus are we!). We are the vineyard of the Lord, a crop of holiness growing into His likeness. The Spirit of the Lord is upon us, because He has anointed us to represent Him in the fullness of His love and redemption plan. He comforts us when we are distressed, sad and unhappy and gives us a garment of praise by which He silences the enemy and the foes of His plan. He gives us beauty for ashes and replaces our mourning with joy. We are trees of righteousness, the plantings of the Lord, raised up to glorify Him. We are as a well watered garden which shall bear the fruit of His Spirit even in old age. We shall remain fresh, flourishing, and blooming wherever we are planted by faith. God has created the words that make our lips blossom with health and wholeness of life. See Isaiah 57:19. He has made us and He well bear our burdens, carry and deliver us. Until we see and hear our desires on all of our enemies who rise up against us. O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth! Copyright Sylvia F Liani 2009

YOU ARE A WARRIOR BY GOD'S DIVINE CHOICE.
You are destined to win. Never let go of that promise. Cling to it, fight for it, and keep your heart and head always firmly affixed to it. See Genesis 32:22-32.
We are told by the prophet, Hosea 12:4, how Jacob wrestled for the promise of God to be fulfilled in His life. He wept and made supplication; prayers and tears were his weapons. It was not only physically and intellectually, but spiritually that he wrestled. It was by vigorous faith and holy desire that he won. He was left with a dislocated hip to remind him of his weakness, but he had an enlarged heart of faith to remind him that God was his strength and a keeper of His word.
You are strong in the Lord and the power of His might. You are strong and you are able to stand against the evil that is coming against you. Against your body! Against you peace and wholeness of life! Against the use of your tongue to speak God's truth! Against the will of the Father in all areas of your life! God will put strength in you. And you shall stand with Him against your enemies. Against all that stands between you and your full inheritance in Christ, both here in this world and in the one to come. Against all that the curse encompasses, including sickness and disease. Against everything that is necessary for life and godliness, even here and now and eternal life in the world to come. You can do all things because in you dwells the fullness of your God. You are strong because God says you are strong in Him and He commands you to say it even in your physical frailty and weakness!!! God's command is, "Let the weak say I am strong". It is not what you see, feel and hear from your flesh, the world, and devil, but what God has promised you in His infallible word that allows you to walk in His power. Lay down your worldly weapons, take up the sword of the Spirit (See Joel 3:10); put on the whole armor of God and with prayer and supplication let the weak say, I am strong. Joel 3:10. The battle is the Lords but the wrestling is yours. 2 Chronicles 20:15; 1 Samuel 17:47. In this world we will have trouble and plenty of it. But in Christ you have overcome the world. Take up your cross and march right into the very depths of God's heart where the abundance of life Christ promises you awaits. WE ARE THE OVERCOMING COQURERING BODY OF CHRIST!!!! LET US MARCH BRAVELY INTO THE BATTLE FOR THE WAR HAS ALREADY BEEN WON.
May the mercy and grace of our Lord be your comfort always!
And may the fullness of God's splendor descent upon you daily!
