Discography
Help Me Decide (2007)
"Help Me Decide" is Diane's first album featuring original material that is composed of her personal testimonies, featuring the Pro-Life song and title track "Help Me Decide" her personal testimony of an unplanned pregnancy in her early adult life and how God helped her to defend and protect the life of her unborn son.
The first track "Dear God" is a prayer translated into song regarding God's calling to her and how she responded to the changes in her life with the faith and trust God instilled in her, quoting a couple of her favorite bible scriptures Romans 8:28 and Corinthians 10:13.
"Who You Are To Me" is a sweet song Diane wrote on her way through the Mountains in North Carolina, The beauty made her think of all the beautiful things that God is to her.......
"Hold On My Heart" is a very deep, spiritual song that reflects the tearing or splitting of ourselves with our love for the world here and the joy and beauty of how we know and understand loving the Savior means-here in the flesh- but yet longing for the day that we will be with our Savior one day in heaven...forever....hold on, my heart....
"Praise Him" praise and worship song that has a live feeling that Diane wrote in the fall of 2005 based on Psalms 150- there is a surprise or two toward the end of the song.........
If I Go Alone is based on Isaiah 30:15; Our obstinance can get the best if us and hinder our walk with God. We can't get to the mountaintop "if we go alone".
"Lead Me" is one of Diane's favorites! With the assistance of her husband for lyrics, Diane wrote this song on the way back from Memphis. They were up there for business but couldn't leave Memphis without visiting GRACELAND! Lyrics and a tune just filled her heart and mind and by the time they got back to Atlanta, the tune actually played as she thought and "Lead Me" was lead!
"A Mother's Prayer" is a very moving song that Diane wrote for her younger sister, Nichole who had given premature birth to her son, AJ, in July of 2005. Diane flew from Atlanta to Green Bay to be with her sister and help out with her sister's other 5 kids. After weeks of intense praying and feeling the baby was okay, Diane went back home and this song was in her heart for she was having some understanding of her sister's humbleness toward God but yet feeling fear & desperation.... those who know her family, know the ending.......
The album reflects Diane's love for the Savior as well as her hope and trust in Him.

We've all prayed these desperate words. But Pro-Life, Singer-Songwriter Diane Kay has seen the words come full circle, as not only were they words she prayed to God about her unborn son, but choices she see her grown children now having to make.
"There have been many bouts of adversity and despair in my life," recounts Diane. "But my faith in God always pulls me through."
Now, with her new CD "Help Me Decide", Diane sings and speaks about the stories and trials of her eventful life, and how God has been and is there every step of the way.
Born into a large family with two brothers and three sisters, Diane quickly found Jesus to be her best friend, literally.
"As a child, Jesus was my best friend and He wasn't imaginary", remembers Diane. "I had tea parties with Him and gave Him my best rocking chair and my best toys. I took Him with me everywhere I went!" This is the basis for the song "Me and Jesus" on her new CD. At the age of 9, Diane accepted Christ into her heart forever and was baptized a week later at First Baptist Powder Springs, in Powder Springs, Georgia.
She taught herself how to play guitar right out of a Mel Bay book, and at 13 penned her first song Christian song. The rest of her youth was spent in marching band, concert band and chorus as a student conductor, and she had high hopes of becoming a high school music teacher.
But life had other ideas.
"As a young adult, I faced an unplanned pregnancy and chose to give my son life. I hope to reach many and help save the lives of the unborn through volunteer services at the counseling centers and through my music ministry. "Help Me Decide" was recently written to reflect this difficult time, the choices made, and the wonderful son I have watched grow before my eyes into a wonderful young man."
No matter what the circumstances life throws at her, Diane now knows her music ministry is God's plan for her life.
"Just this past year as I began to fully understand my purpose, I have incurred some serious physical problems; a ruptured disc that kept me down for over a year immediately followed by a heart valve problem that cause me to slow down considerably and nearly took my life (operation successful) . The song "There's A Rainbow" was written in my time of mental, physical and spiritual pain. I know and believe now that God is not through with me yet and I am more than ready to get out there and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through personal testimonies and song to help save the lives of the unborn!" Diane hopes to reach many women with her Pro-Life Song "HELP ME DECIDE".
For the past 20 years, Diane has been serving God in the music ministry in choirs, praise teams, as a Praise & Worship Leader and Minister of Music, at churches & festivals and other functions and events. Diane is currently serving as a volunteer at a local pregnancy crisis center as a counselor. Diane is donating $1.00 from every CD sale to Cobb Pregnancy Services in Marietta, Ga. Diane prays to reach those in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, homeless shelters, pregnancy crisis centers and prisons- anywhere she can go to reach the hearts of the broken and despaired by sharing her songs and testimonies of faith, hope & love for our Lord Jesus Christ!
Diane and her husband, Jeff are members of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church located in Marietta, Ga. They are both in the adult choir and Diane is a 3rd Grade Choir Director! They also attend an awesome Sunday School class "The Defenders" which is lead by world renowned Christian Apologist and Author Dr. William Craig.
