MASTERpieces: A Book of Spiritual Poetry (2011)
MASTERpieces: A Book of Spiritual Poetry is a compilation of poems written over a number of years. Part I of this series is a summation of the different strokes of life that come to impose on the foundation of relationship: The "everyday relationship" that we have with God, self, and others. Danielle caps these defining times with the hope, determination, and grace she received through Christ, which helped her prevail.

MASTERpieces: From Brokenness to Transparency (2011)
MASTERpieces: From Brokenness to Transparency is a raw poetic rendition of Danielle's transitional journey from one spiritual state to the other. "From Brokenness" is her version of the Prophet Jeremiah's lamentations to the Lord. As, the state of brokenness is a dark and often bleak period in one's life. It is not a welcomed affair, however, it is one of necessity. In this, Danielle allows the reader to catch droplets of her heart's stream poured out before the Lord. Even more so, she proposes you transition with her "to Transparency." There, she discloses her mirror to the reader. Like King David, her life, at its worst en route to its best is literally an open book before you. Buffeting the fear of judgment, she boldly unveils her healed scars along with the encouragement of how God is ever present and at work, even during these transitional times.

About Danielle Patrice
Danielle Patrice, is a poet, playwright, songwriter, publisher, and faith-based writer. As a teen, Danielle was an avid reader of teen fiction. From that she wrote her first of many playlets. So it's no surprise Danielle starred in dual leading roles as "Aunt Runa" and "Devilina" in the original cast of "HIM," produced and directed by 3J Productions in 2001. Subsequent her teen years, she began writing poetry. Having done this as a form of endearment for over twenty years, Danielle's writing borders have since enlarged. Amid the genre crossover, poetry remains one way Danielle expresses the heart of God. Her poem titled, "WANTED: Parental Guidance", published in 2009 by Devo'zine (www.devozine.com/electropoetry), an online Christian Magazine for teens by teens, was His heart cry about leadership for our youth. More recently in 2011, Danielle has been privileged to become a contributing writer for the Christian publication Shabbach Magazine (www.shabbachmagazine.com), where they minister to and enlighten hurting people.

Aside from her new writing career, her spiritual life is first and foremost. In her own words she says, "I am in love with God, am best friends with Jesus, and hang with the Holy Spirit. I delight myself in Him, and I love His people." Danielle has taught the word of God in-house and in outreach ministry for many years, and continues to share the Good News. So titles aside, Danielle is simply a chosen vessel of God whom he uses to teach and minister His heart through song, dance, drama, written word, prophecy, and any other desired form that glorifies Him and edifies his Body. Being about her Father's business, Danielle has fulfilled the duties of Adult & Children's Choir Director, Praise & Worship Leader, Liturgical Dancer & Youth Choreographer, Drama Director, Founder of a Clothes Pantry, Finance Officer, Armorbearer, and Administrator, all for the Kingdom of God. And she dares not to count this as the end of her works.

A native of Bellport, NY, Danielle lived in Wyandanch, NY, until her early teens then relocated to Connecticut where she continues to reside with her family. Having worked since the age of fourteen, Danielle's employment background is diversely extensive in Human Services and Administration. This aided her in graduating with an Associate of Science Degree in Human Services from Housatonic Community College, Bridgeport, CT. She has worked for many Non-Profit Organizations, served a short time with the State of Connecticut Juvenile Detention, and over two years with the State of Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services until her relocation in 2008. As a result, Fayetteville, North Carolina became her home for a time. Danielle's assigned time in Fayetteville became the catalyst for where she is now vocationally and spiritually. As Danielle grows in her gift of writing, she plans to walk in every door that God opens.
