About Crave Bookstore, Coffeehouse & Cafe
Blaise Pascal said that every man, woman & child has a "God-shaped hole", a craving for Something, (SOMEONE) that they can't always put a name on. CRAVE is here to help find the One who fills that void.
CRAVE is a Christian Bookstore & Cafe that seeks to be more than just another bookstore. We want CRAVE to be that "3rd Place" for people to come and fellowship, be ministered to as well as a safe place to ask questions about their own faith and, hopefully, find some answers.
We have a great selection of Bibles, books, music and apparel as well as gift items such as inspirational framed art, jewelry, Dayspring cards and more. CRAVE will kindly deliver bereavement gifts, such as tapestries, windchimes and garden stones to local funeral homes.

If you're a music lover, you'll find the latest in music at CRAVE, including our BurnBar, where you can create your own CDs featuring various songs from your favorite artists! We have over 8,000 accompaniment/performance trax, 29,000 songs and 3,000 albums in our computer system that you can choose from in addition to audio books, games and software that we'll burn on CD for you in about five minutes!

Our cafe touts the best coffee in the area, along with any coffee/espresso drinks you CRAVE (ha, ha) both hot & cold. Our smoothies and frozen fruit teas are made with REAL FRUIT and soooo yummy! All our sandwiches, hot paninis, salads and soups are made fresh daily and simply awesome. Oh, and desserts are made from scratch too! Crave Cafe also features free Wi-Fi for those working lunches.

The cafe regularly hosts a monthly music event either an Open Mic Night or concert featuring local artists, including among others, ShoutLife artists Jonathan Aaron Porter, Erisa Rei and One Way Home...go check them out!

We are located next to Signature Jewelers in Lebanon, TN, right off West Main St (Hwy 70), behind Verizon & McDonald's...please come see us! Open M-F 7am-7pm, (Wed. closing at 5pm), Sat 9-7. (We're happy to make arrangements to stay open late or open early for groups/meetings/specil events.)

Send us your fax number to receive a fax of our daily specials in the cafe.

We love for artists to come play acoustic praise and worship music in the cafe or on the patio anytime. Let your church know and come fellowship with us!

Jesus With Us or Jesus In Us?   9/11/2008 - 11:11 AM
This past weekend my wife, Beth, and I visited at the church we used to attend. Mostly to sit in the class of a good friend who had invited us to come. I always enjoyed sitting in his class...lots of interesting comments and discussion. The topic ... (login or sign up to read more)

FRESH vs. CANNED   4/07/2008 - 8:53 AM
I was reading the letters to the editor page in Christianity Today and came across this statement by a reader: "...what is offered as the normal Christian life consists mostly of self-sufficiency, trying hard and the improvement of the flesh (reli... (login or sign up to read more)

Book Recommendation - Jesus of Suburbia   4/07/2008 - 8:50 AM
The Jesus of Suburbia by Mike Erre is a fantastic read. The prime directive of the book is about how we (read: Christians here in the West) have recreated Jesus in our image...therefore, the Jesus of Suburbia is no more real than Santa Claus...sor... (login or sign up to read more)

Institution or Movement?   4/03/2008 - 12:28 PM
"Jesus Christ founded a movement, not an institution; a community, not an organization. Movements exist for reasons outside themselves; institutions exist to perpetuate themselves." - The Jesus of Suburbia by Mike Erre I remember several years a... (login or sign up to read more)

The Shack by William P. Young   4/03/2008 - 12:16 PM
I HIGHLY recommend the book THE SHACK by William P. Young. The manuscript was rejected by all the major publishers as well as even smaller ones. The author and a couple of friends decided to start a pulishing company just to publish this one book... (login or sign up to read more)
