Welcome to the Cordis web page. Cordis is Latin and means, "of the heart". This band's music and message is just that. Cordis's music touches the hearts and minds of both believers who hear the Spirit through the music as well as those still searching for Truth. The band's mission is one of truth. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life..." Lies corrode the lives and minds of many. External lies are everywhere. When entertained, the internal lies are the only truth that one can comprehend. "The Way, the Truth and the Life" is difficult to see when a wall of lies has been built to keep Him out. There is a real truth, and a mind riddled with lies needs to be saturated with the real truth. The word of God is truth...Jesus is truth. Cordis' mission is to carry this message of truth through their music to those who wish to stop listening to the lies both internally and externally. There is "the way" out!

Bill Ragan arranges our songs on rhythm guitar and sings background vocals. Eric Rasmussen plays lead guitar. Eric's ear-catching lead lines and Bill's rhythm style compliment each other beautifully. In September '07, Mike Adams added his talent on bass guitar to Cordis. And as of March 2008, Cordis became complete as Dawn Dengler joined Cordis as the drummer. Mike and Dawn form an outstanding "back line", almost driving this band. The Holy Spirit has meshed these four talented musicians and their individual expressions of the music with Blaine Mengel's lyrics and vocals and some great inspirational music is the result.
