My theological beliefs   5/17/2009 - 1:13 PM
There is one true God, externally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ, born of the virgin Mary, was fully human and fully divine. He died in our for our sins, He rose from the dead, He ascended into heaven and He... (login or sign up to read more)

My testimony   5/14/2009 - 6:58 PM
I was born and raised as the oldest of four brothers. Our parents divorced when I was 14. My father had a drinking problem. It was a very painful time for me. I played the "family hero" role, desperately trying to find my way by being "a nice guy." ... (login or sign up to read more)

Ken, I really am glad I went on your blog. I probably couldn't afford you as a professional advisor, but the problems with depression and anxiety are really topics that have paralyzed my walk with the Lord. I received the Baptism in the Holy Ghost in 1988 and was also healed of a three year problem that I thought was a prostate issue, but God healed my back and the problem disappeared. Instead of pursuing God I chose to return to worldly things and when God says after he's swept the house clean and you return to the things you were doing before, what would come on you would be worse then before....I am a walking testimony this will happen. I'd love to send you a copy of my book and hear what you think about it. I've found out that by self publishing a book it's a uphill battle to have it marketed properly. If you think you'd have time to check out my book send me your address and I'll send you a copy.

God Bless You and have a great Thanksgiving,

Nick Alvis
