I've been compared to an author from the 30's! Is that a good thing? I think so! But I also like to believe I'm an original and that being unique is better :)

Reading,
writing,
cooking,
gardening,
graphic designing and enjoying the company of my hubby of 32 years.
I also enjoy spending time with our dog,
Shadow,
who is 15 now,
has diabetes and is totally blind,
but she's a real trooper! She's full of love and we are ever so blessed to have her as part of our family.
I'm beginning to take to our newest member,
a stray cat I dubbed Max.
He brought me a rat and since we live in the country,
he's doing his job.
Therefore,
he stays.

|
Favorite movie of all time is "The Ten Commandments".
I also love comedies,
family oriented movies and action packed movies! I love Lifetime and Hallmark movies as well.
I enjoy suspense,
but usually close my eyes during the really gorry parts.
I despise movies or shows that show injured animals or animals being killed.
I enjoy the wildlife here in the country and we feed the critters! Call me crazy,
but I think Oppossums are cute and they are quite timid actually.
Now racoons are another story! And coyotes.
Not fond of either of those.
TV shows I like best are: NCIS,
Medium,
Monk,
CSI,
Cold Case,
Criminal Minds,
the new show My Life On Mars and another new one,
The Mentalist.

Chasing Memories - First in the Memory Box Trilogy (2008)
Steven and Laura Thompson have the ideal marriage, and the birth of Annie only strengthens their bond. Life is perfect, as if they have forever, until everything changes in an instant with one man's careless decision - to drive while intoxicated - and the resulting accident leaves Laura a widow.
Now a single mother, Laura struggles to move on with her life but two years later, an unimaginable tragedy strikes again. While shoveling her elderly neighbor's snowy walk, a careening car slides into her on an icy patch on the street, and leaves Laura with no memory of either Steven or Annie!
Laura grapples to make sense of the missing pieces of her past, living in the present with a daughter she can't remember, a friend she doesn't know but must learn to trust, and a future filled with uncertainties. A beautiful memory box, handcrafted by her elderly neighbor and given to her at Christmas, is filled with precious mementos in the hopes she will one day remember.
As Laura instinctively fights for survival, her eventual surrender to a God of love brings hope, healing and a new wholeness to her shattered life.

Author, Reviewer, Interviewer, Freelance Writer & Editor
Born and raised in Iowa, Cindy Bauer grew up the youngest of three children. An avid reader since early childhood, she often dreamed of becoming a writer. Cindy graduated from Assumption High School in 1975, married her husband Robert in 1976 and left her dream behind. When her mother became terminally ill, Cindy and her husband relocated to Missouri in 1986 to assist with her care. They decided to stay and make it their home. Cindy's dream to write was rekindled when she began working for a daily newspaper. She published her first novel, Chasing Memories, in 2006 and her second, Shades of Blue, in 2007, both of which were edited by her sister, a former journalism teacher. In early 2008, Cindy severed ties with her publisher. She then rewrote and republished both those novels in 2008. But editor "sis" is not the only family member involved with Cindy's writing career. Cindy enlisted the assistance of her brother, an artist and lyrics writer, to design the new covers for Shades of Blue, republished November 2008, and Crystal Clear, released June 2009. Besides writing and marketing her own works, Cindy now freelances as a writer and editor, and also reviews for Bookpleasures and New Leaf Press. She recently joined the staff as a volunteer at Visual Arts Junction and contributes articles revolving around writing, publishing and marketing. Crystal Clear - Third in the Memory Box Trilogy

Hi Cindy,
Thanks for stopping by! Yes, we have been very, very busy lately! With two Radio Shows now, and possibly a third one coming soon it keeps us on our toes! Plus I am getting two more books ready to have published. And then three more after these two! We just recently changed Radio Companies so we have had many updates to place all over the Internet and in our Huge Website System. My Agent has been working almost night and day to get all the changes made to our System for the past month or so. I am so thankful to have him as an Agent - I don't know how he does all he does in the run of the day. But he sure puts in some very long hours I know that ! I hope things are going well for you as well. You seem to stay busy too !
Blessings Always in HIM...

TRIUMPHANT SERVANTS
God proclaims victory for His people! Not over them by the opposing forces of evil! It is He who has delivered us out of bondage (slavery) to satan and his evil reign of terror and torment! He has qualified us (the Church) to be victorious partakers of the inheritance of Christ. Colossians 1:12. We are the heirs OF GOD THE FATHER, joint-heirs with Jesus! Romans 8:17. Our elder brother! God created us to rule not to summit ourselves as slaves in the camp of His enemy! Our exodus event out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light was accomplished by a divine assortment of miracles! And miracles are intended to continue to accompany those who walk in loyalty to our Father. He has seated us in heavenly places to rule over, not to be ruled by the acts of the enemy! Imagine seated even now spiritually on the throne with Christ at the right hand of the Father. And instilled with the same power that fills Christ! The same power that raised Jesus has raised us up to rule over evil on earth as He did. See Luke 10:19; Ephesians 1:20, 2:6; Hebrews 8:1. Mutual love and desire between God and His redeemed saints is the key that turns the lock of heavens vaults. 1 John 1:7, 4:17; Matthew 16:19. Think about this, if you don't love God's ways on earth, why would you love them in the world to come?! If you love being with Him where He is, holiness is required. If you don't delight in holy living now how could you be happy in a place that is entirely holy?! We cannot practice satan's ways and receive God's miraculous results over the torment that accompanies them. We are the means by which God has chosen to exhibit His holiness and power in the earth. Our transfer out of bondage to satan brought us into a kingdom flowing with the richness of heavens bounty! Because of Israel's disloyalty to God and His plan they could never maintain the flow of milk and honey that they were promised. Let us not think that our disloyalty is any more pleasing and profitable then theirs in receiving the promises of God. Let us remember that we are redeemed so that we may be humble, triumphant, willing bondservants to our Holy Father just as Jesus was. See Philippians 2:7.
May God turn all of your mistakes into miracles! May others never fail to see that the oneness they see in you with Him is the avenue that will change their lives as well!
Sylvia xoxoxo

STOPPING IN TO SAY HELLO, wish you a beautiful evening and a grand weekend.
Don't you just love how God takes our muddled messes and works them for our good?
God assures you, His child, therefore; we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28. Relax, be at peace you can never work your way into God's best. If you are in Christ you have already received the promise of His best in your life. The just requirement of the law has been fulfilled in us who do not run our lives according to what our old nature wants but according to what the Spirit wants. See Romans 8:4
Even if you are suffering horrific disappointment, being atrociously treated, bombarded on every side with seemingly impossible situations. Relax and trust that God will somehow work in your circumstances to fulfill His good purpose in your life. God's guarantee to you is that ultimately good results will come forth! TRUST HIM! And never, never depend on your own understanding.
Why is this so?! How can this possibly be? It is so because: There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1. Our flesh may make bad decisions and decide to roll in the mud of evil deception from time to time. By plucking fruit from the tree of evil self-reliance you can mess up. But your spirit remains untarnished. Because you are now in Christ you are righteous. You can't get any more righteous than you are now. And the law of God has already been fulfilled in your life. He is satisfied. It was by faith alone that you enter into this new life. This new life, in which God's Spirit abides in you, makes all things possible for you. And it is by faith alone that you can receive the benefits promised to those who walk in this truth. Copyright Sylvia F. Liani 2009
Humongous hugs

SENDING LOVE YOUR WAY AND PRAYING ALL IS WELL WITH YOU!
The greatest of all our gifts is love. Without love we are merely sounding cymbals. Clanging gongs! See 1 Corinthians 13:13. Love is the greatest force in heaven and in earth. Because God is love and has shed abroad in the believer's heart the love that exist in His very own heart. It is by the exercise of this love that we defeat all the evil of this world and its master. As we love God, our Father, as Christ does. And love others as we love ourselves, we become winners; undefeatable spiritual warriors.
Spiritual warfare is a necessary reality in the life of all the redeemed in Christ. satan has been for sure defeated by Jesus' sacrifice. But, at the present time neither he nor the whole passel of his cronies are silent and inactive. Therefore, if it is written in God's word pursue it with the very passion of heaven until the promised results are established. You have been given the greatest gift that heaven has to offer, which is the very Spirit of Love. Through Christ God defected satan and forever sealed his doom. Then He graciously invited all who will, to sit with Christ in the heavenly places and share in that victory. See Ephesians 1:20; 2:6; 3:10.
When this is the stance of our life, we move into the fullness of who we have become in Jesus. This love is the very same love by which He fulfilled the law and the prophets. See Matthew 7:12; 22:40, Galatians 5:14, Romans 13:18; 10:4, Act 3:18 Luke 22:37. And then set us free to be as He is in this world. 1 John 4:17. It is this restoration of who God created us to be that satan fears and is so adamantly opposed to. In this place no weapon he forms or anything he says against us can prosper, because God Himself will condemn him. Isaiah 54:17. Why is this so? It is so because when we fail to exercise the use of God's greater power and authority over him, he is enabled to use his greatest power against us. Remember satan is a defeated foe whom God has given us authority over all of his power. Luke 10:19. However, we must take our place in His kingdom and live out this promise.
Satans greatest weapon against the child of God is to convince us that he has more power than we do in Christ. Or we could say more power than Christ in us. While satan and all his minions are thoroughly and eternally defeated they fight on. And you and I are the targets of their arrows of evil intentions. Therefore, just as these principalities and powers of evil fight for his kingdom to rule; we must fight for the kingdom of our God to rule here as it does in heaven. We accomplish this by way of our becoming spiritual godly lights in the darkness of this world. Lights set a blaze by the Spirit of God, which neither man nor demon can extinguish. Satan is defeated but far from inactive. God's people are winners, but far from living out the full reality of our victory in Christ. If you as a victorious conqueror (and this is who God says you are) fail to go forth and conquer evil in the authority of Jesus name; satan will still hold you captive to destruction and defeat. See Romans 8:37. Never forget that winners actively pursue the prize set before them. Until at last they possess all of the benefits of that prize.
Go now and knock down those walls that stand between you and all the benefits of your redemption in Christ. It is written: As Jesus is so are you in this world. We are the throbbing pain in satan's evil heart. When we live up to whom God created and calls us to be. We are actually not enlisted to defeat satan. Christ did that. We are to take our place as lights through which Jesus shines as He Himself dispels the darkness of evil which fills this world. It is Jesus who enforces and ensures our victory and satan's defeat. May all that is allowed in heaven fill your life each day. And may all that is not allowed there be forbidden in your life. See Matthew 16:19; 18:19.
Love big, stay strong in the Lord and let the power of His might forever be your stronghold of safety.
