About Indie University Nashville- April 14-17
Isaiah 43:18-19 "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland."

We're looking forward to a great Indie University Nashville! Set aside April 14-17, 2010 and come to Nashville, TN to attend what has become known as one of the most effective conferences for independent Christian musicians, bands, soloists, writers, and anyone who has a mission to reach the world with their music and message! If you are serious about reaching people with your music and mission, this is the conference for you! Indie University Nashville will be completely different than any indie conference ever produced. Formerly called The CIA Summit, for the past 6 years (read comments from our last event, view pics from our last event) Indie University Nashville is the Place2B for the serious indie!

What Makes Indie University Nashville Different?
Most conferences are industry based, presenting information that is outdated and presented by industry people who do not know or understand the independent Christian musician mission. We know what indies need to hear, and that is the truth about being a Christian musician in 2010. Times have changed, what worked just a few years ago is now broken. We'll provide solid, biblically based information, plus cover the latest technology and tools for independent success!

Artists Sharpening Artists
Ever heard of the saying, "iron sharpens iron"? We've learned that artists are one of the best sources of correct information, since artists are the ones on the front lines making it happen. The focus of Indie University Nashville is community, camaraderie and Christ. We're coming together to learn about Releasing The Sound Of The Harvest!

By Indies and for Indies!
Indie University Nashville will be hosted and moderated by Indieheaven founder, Keith Mohr and Scott MacLeod. Keith has worked with thousands of indie artists for many years, helping them fulfill their missions. This has provided them with a wealth of information. Keith knows what indies must do to be successful. Check out articles penned by Keith for his "Indie No Spin Zone" column featured in Christian Musician Magazine, and other content.

Scott MacLeod is pastor of The Fortress Fellowship. Scott also founded and is president of Provision, Intl and Harvest Sound. Scott penned the book "Snakes in the Lobby" which has turned out to be quite prophetic, given the recent developments in the CCM Industry. Scott will share his thoughts about Releasing The Sound Of The Harvest and how you will be instrumental in this new era in Christian music! You will see this conference will be well worth your time and effort! This is the kind of hard hitting, no nonsense information you will hear at Indie University Nashville!

Who Is Indie University Nashville For?
It doesn't matter if you are a band of Christians, or a Christian band, singer, songwriter, soloist, rapper, rocker, country, contemporary.. every single person who is interested in reaching people with their music and message needs to attend this event. This event will not only teach you the nuts and bolts of what it takes to be a success at your mission, but we have a feeling God is going to renew your mind at what is means to be a success. Make sure you attend, do not miss out on this life changing event!

The Most Effective Conference Out There!
The industry is changing, and the indie artist needs to simply be the best artist they can be, because 99% of all indies will remain an indie, and that's alright. Indie University Nashville is all about sharing helpful, useful and relevant information that will help you succeed in your mission!

The Most Affordable Conference Out There!
Other indie conferences charge attendees $800.00 to attend and share 1 song for industry types or hear the same information shared over and over again. Indies are looking for real and honest answers, and we'll have them at this event! Forget those events that promise to break you into the industry. The recording industry is breaking down, and 99.9% of indies will remain indie. We're going to break indies out of the mindset that they need "the man" in order to make it! It is Mission:Possible if you work smart, and pray hard! We'll teach you how at the Indie University Nashville!

Are you a serious artist?
Serious means, do you desire to share you music and message with others? Then do everything you can to come to Nashville, TN for the Indie University Nashville Expect to hear from God concerning your music and mission!

Hey! Lookin' forward to getting to know you better here at Shoutlife!

When time allows, hop on over to my Shoutlife profile and my web site and see what I've been doing since God talked me into trading my guitar for a computer.

I pray the week ahead will bring you good and wonderful things, and if anything weighs heavy on your heart, let me join you in prayer, "for wherever two or three of us are gathered in His name?." (Isn't it great, knowing you needn't give me details for Him to hear our voices!)

Eyes on Him,
(1 Corinthians 10:13)
