Welcome
The Christian Comedy Association is an association of Christians committed to offering faith affirming truth through the craft of comedy.
The CCA was formed with a three-fold purpose: To facilitate fellowship and networking between our fellow Christians working in the field of comedy. To raise the awareness of Christian comedy. To enhance the craft of Christian comedy by encouraging and training Christian Comedians.
A Note from the Chairman

Dear Fellow Comic:
I would like to personally thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you.
I have been involved in the Christian Comedy market since 1992, and have had the privilege to work and associate with the pillars of the business like Mark Lowry, Dan Rupple, Ken Davis, Chonda Pierce, and others.I have also continued to work at comedy clubs where my comedy career began. I feel that having an association and a connection with both markets prepares me to understand comics on both sides.
The wisdom of the Board of Directors of the CCA and the input from Chonda and Dan Rupple gives me great confidence in trusting the decisions and the direction of the CCA. It is a privilege to work with people so willing to help by sharing their expertise.
One of my major goals is to help other comedians. That has been my passion since God put it on my heart in 1994, when I started Comedy Crusade's School of Comedy and the first-ever Christian Comedy Club.
It is my commitment to you, I will be praying for you and try to encourage you to mature spiritually in the Lord which, in return, will impact your career. I will work closely with Gordon Douglas and Kay DeKalb Smith from the Spiritual Affairs Department to make sure that you are being offered the encouragement and the prayers you need.
If you just heard about the CCA or visit this site regularly, I want you to know that we are here for you. The CCA is the answer to many prayers from comedians who were "lone rangers" on the road, to people who knew that God called them to use their humor but didn't know how to go about it, and everyone in between.
I thank you for your prayers. I do hope to see you at the next conference.
I want to leave you with this thought that encouraged me to work harder on the creative aspects of my career: Lloyd John Ogleby said, "No great literature or art was ever produced by a person who worked when he felt like it."
Your Servant,
Nazareth, Chairman
