I really don't have a favorite book or author. It depends on my mood.
I write romance with a touch of women's fiction, but I typically read historicals.

My name is Brenda Minton. I'm a wife, mom, and author. I live in the Ozarks where I enjoy spending time with my family. We love canoeing, hanging out at the river, and roasting hot dogs over an open fire. We also seem to collect animals the way some people collect coins.
I write for Steeple Hill Love Inspired, which I consider a great honor. I get to write about people dealing with real-life issues, falling in love, and finding faith. It's a great mix, and I love it.
I also love speaking to women's groups, libraries, and youth. Basically, anyone who will have me--and provide a cup of coffee.

The joy of the Lord is my strength. I've always found it easier to deal with a situation if I find humor, a way to laugh during the hard times.
We recently had to place my seventy-six year old father in the nursing home. It was one of the most diffi...
