I'm an unpubished writer living in Oklahoma City and I'm represented by Terry Burns of Hartline Literary Agency. By day, I'm a CPA/Internal Auditor, by night, I spend time with my kids and wife, and somewhere in there I find time to write. I have 2 completed novels and a current WIP that is complete and being edited. I'm focusing on the corporate/business thriller market and really excited about it. I'm a member of ACFW and have attended the Mt. Hermon Writers conference in 2006 and 3 ACW conferences in Oklahoma City. In September 2007, I attended the ACFW conference in Dallas.

I review every book I've read on Amazon.com and I'm ranked in the top 1000. It's fun and I enjoy it (and Amazon sends me free stuff.) Over the years, I've read primarily mainstream, ABA suspense and thrillers. As I've started trying to become a publi...

First of all. I have an agent. Great news. Terry Burns with Hartline. I met him at ACFW 2007 and followed the process and signed a contract.
I'm trying to plot out my next novel and wondered if anyone could help me with some research. I'm looking...

My next novel (and the best one yet...) is in the plotting stages, and I'm having a hard time. I've written 3 novels (unpublished) and two were plotted via outlines and one was seat of the pants. I write supsense and I want every twist to lead one wa...

My nephew Jack was born with severe physical problems at 24 weeks. He lived until he was 3 days short of his 4th birthday. There is a pic that I'm trying to make my main picture, but it I don't know if I did it correctly.
Jon and Alyson Garrison ...

I imagine about now is the time where writers decide its really maybe not a good idea to submit their proposal.
I went to the ACFW conference about a month ago. I learned a lot and came home eager to polish my manuscript and proposal. I worked dai...

Hello! I would like to invite you to the FaithWriters' writing conference this August in Nashville. Last year it was so amazing--very different from normal conferences that are just facts and information. People are coming from all over the world for this gathering that will touch your heart, fill you up, and put you on fire for months to come!
There will also be opportunity for you to sell any published works, and pitch your ideas for unpublished works to agents or an editor.
Check out my blog for more details.
