Howdy Friends

I am Bill Brooks, a Christian Country/ country gospel musician.
I was born and raised in the Appalachian foothills of rural southeastern Ohio.
Music has always been a large part of my life. I sang in choirs at school and church. Played in the high school marching band. And was the frontman for many rock, country and folk groups. 2008 will mark 40 years in the music biz as I performed my first pro gig at the age of 14 .The sad realization is that for 35 of those years I performed either drunk or high. I stumbled though life a dead man walkin'. I gave up on my Lord, my family, my wife, my children, my friends, my music, everything. Then on December 23, 2002, I gave up on life. But someone had not given up on me.. That was my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I was sober for the next 45 days, but not happy. Then one evening I was sitting in my truck, when for the first time in my life I opened up my heart and asked for help.
My prayers were answered.
I am such a blessed man.
I now dedicate my life and my talents to sing a new song with a new heart. A song of praise to The Lord..
In March of 2007 I was called by The Lord to sell our home, move into a fifth-wheel travel trailer, and along with my wife and best friend Judy,we have hit the road to serve the Lord and I've been sharing my music and testimony with Christ based recovery groups, churches, Christian coffee houses, correctional institutions and any other door that The Master opens.
Our music ministry never seeks a fee for sharing our music and testimony with the groups or churches we visit. If the heart is moved to offer a love gift then it would be so greatly appreciated..
My ministry is not sponsered by any church, group or organization.
