About Bill Allen
Bill Allen is available as a concert artist for churches/events and as a writer if you or your group is in need of original material.

Bill Allen is a native of the St. Louis, MO area now living in Eddyville, KY (90 min. outside of Nashville, TN). For many years, Bill's goals have been the same; to share Gospel Music with passion, purpose and in the power of the Holy Spirit.

As a teen and young adult, Bill's roots in music were established by participating in a family group that traveled throughout the Midwest. While in college, he continued to sing in the family group as well as doing several solo concerts and other music events.

He also met his wife Beth while in college. In 1999, their daughter Natalie was born. Bill realizes the importance of family and understands that his priorities are God first, his family next, then everything else.

Bill has continued on with the musical heritage of his family by serving on staff at churches and ministering as a solo artist in churches, concert halls, fairs and other venues. Bill is currently the Minister of Music/Children at Kuttawa Baptist Church in Kuttawa, KY. He is also a gifted songwriter. The song: "Go in His Name" from his "Spirit Feast" recording project was selected as a finalist in the nationally syndicated "Solid Gospel" radio network's "Songwriter Search and Showcase."

Bill Allen's influences are many. As a young man, he and his family shared the program stage with groups such as The Happy Goodmans and The Kingsmen. He also lived right across the street from "Music Row" in Nashville, TN for two years while working for Belmont University. Bill said, "Living there was quite an experience. We learned a lot about the music industry; the good, the bad, and the unexpected!" One of Bill's most treasured relationships is with his boyhood hometown favorite group and one Gospel Music's most loved families, The Lesters. Ginger Pitchers helped produce his "Spirit Feast" recording project and the group along with veteran pianist Tim Parton added their talents on vocals/keyboard. With all that said, the most important influence in Bill's life is Jesus Christ. His relationship with Jesus is at the heart of his ministry. He realizes that no amount of talent, ability or influence can replace the leadership of Christ. He seeks for lives to be changed by the transforming power of God in every event he is a part of.

Because Bill has served on staff in churches and as a traveling concert artist, he has a unique perspective when it comes to Gospel Music. He has also promoted concerts featuring groups such as The Perrys, The Kingsmen, The Whisnants, Southern Brothers, The Lesters and more. He seeks to learn from all his experiences and make the most of that knowledge as a songwriter and an artist.

Bill's singing and writing style is definitely Southern Gospel but mixed in you'll hear a little soul, some jazz, a bit of country, praise and worship and other influences.
