Betsy Ann St. Amant, an inspirational author in North Louisiana, has a heart for three things - chocolate, red polka dot shoes, and sharing the amazing news of God's grace through her writing.

Betsy had a short story published in Volume Two of the book by Xulon Press, "Praise Reports: Inspiring Real Life Stories of How God Answers Prayers" and a short story in "Life Savors for Women" - by Tyndale House. She also contributes monthly articles on faith and marriage to Crosswalk.com. Her humorous poem on the topic of writers block was published in the February 2007 issue of The Christian Communicator magazine.

She's been happily married to her husband Brandon for three years, and recently found out she's expecting their first child! There will be a new little fan of reading around in July 2008!

When Betsy's not working full time for an oil & gas company or hard at work on her latest novel, you can probably find her on the treadmill with a book in her hand. (or shopping with a Diet Coke in her hand!) =)

Betsy also enjoys singing, watching chick flicks (The Notebook, The Lake House, and Princess Bride are her favs!), eating Nerds (she thinks the red ones are the best!), shopping (Betsy firmly believes a girl can NEVER have too many shoes!), watching hockey games (Go Louisiana Mudbugs!) and spending time with her friends, family and "son" Samson (a purebred black lab).
