About Betsy Ann St. Amant
|
|
Betsy Ann St. Amant, an inspirational author in North Louisiana, has a heart for three things - chocolate, red polka dot shoes, and sharing the amazing news of God's grace through her writing.
Her published works include a new release by Steeple Hill Love Inspired, RETURN TO LOVE, July 2009. The sequel, A VALENTINE'S WISH, hit stores February 2010, and Betsy's third book with Steeple Hill, RODEO SWEETHEART, released April 2010. Watch for her October Christmas novella as part of a compilation book for the holidays, titled MISTLETOE PRAYERS.
Betsy also has a romantic suspense by the title of Midnight Angel, published by The Wild Rose Press. It's currently available through Amazon.com or Borders.com! (or click on the link under the cover art to purchase the book)

A few facts about Betsy:
She's been happily married to her husband Brandon for over six years, and is the super proud mommy of the sweetest toddler that ever lived. Yep, there's a new fan of reading in the St. Amant household. =)
As a new stay at home mom - well, make that work at home mom! - Betsy stays busy running after her daughter (she's fast!) and writing on her latest novel. You can also usually find her somewhere with a book and some chocolate in her hand. (or shopping for shoes with a Diet Coke in her hand!)
Betsy also enjoys singing, watching chick flicks (The Notebook, The Lake House, and Princess Bride are just a few of her favs!), eating Nerds (she thinks the red ones are the best!), shopping (Betsy firmly believes a girl can NEVER have too many shoes!), watching hockey games (Go Louisiana Mudbugs!) and spending time with her friends and family.

Today, I sought a word from God to share with my SL family and friends, and came across this fabulous version of a timely word from Romans 8:34-39...I pray this blesses and encourages you as much as it did for me!
Romans 8:34-39 - The Message (MSG)
With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn't hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn't gladly and freely do for us? And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God's chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us?who was raised to life for us!?is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ's love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture:
They kill us in cold blood because they hate you.
We're sitting ducks; they pick us off one by one.
None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I'm absolutely convinced that nothing?nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable?absolutely nothing can get between us and God's love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.

The angel spoke to the women: "There is nothing to fear here. I know you're looking for Jesus, the One they nailed to the cross. He is not here. He was raised, just as he said. Come and look at the place where he was placed.
"Now, get on your way quickly and tell his disciples, 'HE IS RISEN from the dead. He is going on ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there.' That's the message."
The women, deep in wonder and full of joy, lost no time in leaving the tomb. They ran to tell the disciples. Then Jesus met them, stopping them in their tracks. "Good morning!" he said. They fell to their knees, embraced his feet, and worshiped him. Jesus said, "You're holding on to me for dear life! Don't be frightened like that. Go tell my brothers that they are to go to Galilee, and that I'll meet them there."
