God has given me a burden to minister to the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom to the bound, and to encourage everyone that they can realize their God given purpose, dreams and plans through the power and provision found only in a relationship with the risen Redeemer, Jesus Christ! By His grace, He turns our mourning into joy, ashes into beauty and sadness into praise! Isaiah 61:1-3

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

My primary ambition in life is to love, worship and serve the Lord, Jesus Christ, with ALL of my life! I'm far from perfect but He is working on that problem. As He does that, His amazing love compels me to open my heart and share the many ways that He has saved and blessed me.

Brooks and I are blessed with two great young adult children, Matt and Jessica. Although I have been singing for the Lord for over 20 years, being a wife and mother have been my primary focus but God is bringing me into a new season of my life. It is going to be so much fun and I hope I will get to meet many of you in the process.

When God saved me, He literally saved me from a path of destruction...of singing in clubs and trying to find my self worth in all the wrong places! As He filled me with His love, my search for self worth ended. Instead of searching and singing for illusive fame, I surrendered my life and talents to Him...to bring Him glory. What a blessing to minister to others in Jesus' name through music!

He is an amazing God and has been so faithful to me through many life struggles. All I have, all that I've done, all that I am or ever hope to be is because of Jesus Christ, my best friend, my joy, and my strength! My prayer every day is that He will fill me to overflowing so that I am a blessing to others on His behalf.

So, here we go...we just released my debut CD, "I Wait For You", a dream that God has graciously made come true. Some of the songs that I wrote for this project came as answers to prayers while I was walking through some very dark valleys and some are simply the outpouring of love and joy between a Heavenly Father and me, his grateful daughter, BUT none came until I learned to let go and let God be God of ALL things in my life.

My prayer is that the words and music on "I Wait For You", will bless and encourage you and every listener to "Let go" and trust the Lord, Jesus Christ, not only as Savior, but with every part of your life! He has a purpose and plan for each and every one of His children. If we will just keep our hearts and wills in sync with His, then by His power and in His timing, He will work through us to accomplish His plans. Just keep trusting in Him day by day or better yet, moment by moment. He will never fail you!
