"You're no longer strangers... you belong here." - Ephisians 2:19



On any given day, 135,000 teenagers bring a gun into our schools across the nation. 24.1% of high schoolers have thought about committing suicide in the past 12 months. 1 in 5 teenagers have purposely injured themselves in some fashion. These numbers are real, blatant, and show us that there is a problem in our society today.


Here at The Basement we want to change these numbers for the better. Far too many of our teens find themselves with no where to go, no adult willing to listen, and no place to belong. Ephesians 2:19 shows us that God's Kingdom, His Church offers us a home, place to belong for those who were former strangers. The Basement wants to offer teenagers that place of refuge and sanctuary and hope.
