Shalom and Warm ShoutOuts,
The path is narrow [Matthew 7:13-14], but you are not alone. So please allow me to extend my cyber hand in friendship as I welcome you to my personal family here on SL....as a pastor/author, Christian musician/psalmist and member of SL since 2007, I want you to know that I truly count it a pleasure to be added to your list of cyber friends and acquaintances.
Meeting you here on SL, reminds me of how truly blessed the church is with that the advent of the technology giving us the PC and web. These electronic outlets have clearly afforded us the opportunity to come across many new and talented people, who, like yourself, without this technology: I'd never know. God has truly reduced the size of this world down to the size of a mere monitor and keyboard.
May you continue to experience His favor and loving grace in the new year. And know that I count it a blessing to count you as a cyber friend. Selah!
In closing I am including the following as I believe you may be encouraged with its words of truth:
I thought that you would appreciate this word for this time in your life. I know; for me, it is great to keep these words on the tip of my tongue, especially when the enemy closes in and crowds my faith...
Isaiah 54:17 - the Amplified Bible (AMP)
"But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord."
Again, I welcome you to SL, and pray your stay here be long and spiritually and personally profitable. I also invite you to look over my books [on my profile page]. If you buy one and desire to have it personally inscribed to you contact me via SL mail and I'll show you how this can be accomplished.
Shalom,
Pastor Paul
