About Arise Quartet
Arise is a group of four men working solely for the glory of God and are fully committed to seeing lives changed through a Southern Gospel Ministry. The group was formed by tenor, Brendan Parker of Garner, NC in October of 2002. Brendan is joined by his father, Charles Parker of Raleigh, NC singing baritone and his brother, Chris Parker from Raleigh, NC singing bass. The group's lead position is held by Mitchell Dixon of Wake Forest, NC. Since the group has started, blessings have been sent down from God. In this short time, Arise has had the fortune to share the stage with some of the finest artists in Southern Gospel music including family members Ivan Parker as Soloist and Danny Parker with The Harvesters Quartet. Arise has been featured on regional television as well as the 2004 North Carolina State Singing Convention. As a quartet, Arise was honored as "Best Quartet" at the 85th Annual North Carolina State Singing Convention as well as "Grand Champion" at the Virginia State Singing Convention. Arise believes in ministry and makes this first priority. Together, this group of fine men will work together with the guidance from our Lord as fishermen for souls; spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through song. Please keep the members of Arise in your prayers as they head out to see lives changed.

"Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outsretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you." Jeremiah 32:17

I love that scripture. We used to sing it in scripture songs a lot.

Ah, Lord, God,
thou hast made the heavens and the earth by thy great power,
Ah, Lord God,
thou hast made the heavens and the earth by thy outstretched arm.

And nothing is too difficult for thee
Nothing is too difficult for thee
Great and mighty God
Great in power
Mighty indeed, mighty indeed!
Nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing,
Nothing is too difficult for thee.

Love that scripture. Love that truth. Max Lucado talks in his book, 'He still moves stones" about the greatness of God.

He is great, He is big, He is awesome. He is, He is...but you know what???....

He is concerned about the littliest detail in our lives. We belong to Him and if it's important to us, it's important to Him!

Thank you Father for being all-powerful, all-capable, all-knowing, omnipotent. And there is nothing, absolutely nothing too big for you to handle in our lives. Thank you that no problem, big or small is beyond your love, concern and ability....

As Max says, "He removes the boulders from our path and the pebbles from our shoes...." Now how awesome is that???? He can bring the low places up and the high places down.....He can steady our walk and lay out a path before us!!!

That is a loving Father...I will, because I choose, to cast all my worries and fears and anxieties over to Him......And our universe?? Well, it may seem big to us, but it sets in the palm of His hand!!!

Great and mighty God!! Great in power, mighty indeed, mighty indeed!!!
Nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing, nothing is too difficult for thee.

Have a blessed evening and a GOOD MORNING!!!! BLESSINGS, TISHA
