Influences:
Vince Gill, Chet Atkins, Johnny Cash, Steven Curtis Chapman, Chris Rice, Chris Tomlin, Tim Thompson, my grandparents, Ricky Skaggs, James Taylor, Doyle Dykes, Jack Johnson, John Mayer....the list goes on!

Personal influences are definitely my parents, Tony and Marcia, for the things they have went through in their personal lives that shows such a humongous strength and virility. They both taught me that no matter the obstacle, you're never too weak to overcome it. I've looked up to former pastors such as Ron Parrish, Chris Hall, and Bruce Pittman. All have been huge influences in my life and have showed me the true meaning of being a Godly man.
Sounds Like:

"I was grafted into a musical family with a long heritage that has spanned over a century. Raised in Southwest Georgia all of my life, my musical abilities began to surface at around age 5 when I began to teach myself the piano and guitar. A few years later, I branched out into several other instruments including the mandolin, banjo, autoharp, dobro, bass guitar, drums, harmonica, along with many others."

Anthony's roots, which include bluegrass, classic rock, along with more modern alternative and acoustic pop influences, come together in what can only be described as such a well-rounded and balanced finished product that is pleasing to the ears and the heart. Anthony's parents, Marcia & Tony (Anthony Sr.), raised him and his sister, Miranda, in a Christian home full of love and diversity. "We were never held down to one thing, but in fact encouraged to seek the truth for ourselves which gave us a deeper faith and a deeper walk in Christ. We were all used to afternoons pickin' and grinnin' on the front porch, singing old country and bluegrass songs my parents and grandparents sang when they were small.", Anthony says.

At 14, he received Christ as his Savior and at 17 he began to realize his life was about to take a different turn. In 1999, after graduating, he pursued a two-year degree in computer sciences & graduated from a community college with several awards and certificates in the winter of 2001. In the fall of 2002, he became a Youth Pastor/Worship Leader at East Albany Church of God in Albany, GA. In the following Spring Anthony felt Gods leading to resign and pursue music full-time.

His newest album, "Almost Alone" (2007), is an 'autobiography-in-song', as he describes it. The warning on the back includes "no electric instruments were harmed during the making of this CD". Every song written was inspired from real-life situations and he incorporated past experiences inside each recording.

He currently serves as the Worship Leader at Crosspoint Baptist Church in Leesburg, GA while touring and performing across the country.

In a challenge to us all, Anthony states, "I seek a new relationship with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, every single day and I'm pursuing a greater level of intimacy with Him that I may continually grow in Him and know Him more. Jesus says in Matthew 6:33, 'But seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.' All that matters in this world is our relationship with Christ. I challenge you, reader, to take the plunge into the very depths of Christ's Spirit and Truth...you'll never regret it..."
