"My heart's desire is that this collection will touch your heart. I pray it will bring you to see Jesus and that it will be a life changing experience."
Angie Taylor is a true musician who noticed her love for music at a very young age. She began playing the drums in her dad's tent revivals and later played the piano, discovering it to be her true love. At age 15, Angie found inspiration for her first song. Little did she know it was just the first of many to come. Many nights she sat in her room playing the piano, singing and thinking, "God when will I ever get past these four walls? When will I get to share the songs you have given me? " Now, Angie realizes and shares in her songs that things do not always happen on our time schedule, but His. In Angie's heart, the release of this album is a testament of God's perfect timing.
"The best day of my life was also the beginning of a beautiful journey with the Lord. At 9 years old I prayed and asked Jesus into my heart. I felt so good inside. I knew I was saved."
The youngest of nine children, Angie was born May 23, 1976 in the small town of Ashburn, Georgia. Shortly after that her family moved to Plant City, Florida. Today, residing in Central Florida with her husband Kevin, Angie still sits at her piano and prays for God to help her write songs through His eyes. It is her mission to express the love that God has for people and reassure them that He understands what they are going through. She often recites the prayer "Let me see people the way you do" during her song writing process.
"No matter what kind of day I am having, I can start to play and God comforts me. Music is truly an outlet for me. When I sing songs that praise and worship him; the burdens of life are lifted. I never knew what God had planned for my life, but I knew if I stayed close to him everything would be all right."
The title song, " No Greater Love Than This", says it all. Inspired by scripture, this song paints a picture of His inconceivable love for man and His willingness to give up everything so that we could live. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13)
"I hope that the message of my music blesses you and that the spirit of my songs will positively touch your life."
