Andrea C. Parker, is a gifted songwriter and Indie artist, who shares her heart and testimony through her songs and her unique voice. Andrea has always been a singer; even as a child her mother would showcase her daughter at local restaurants and nursing homes. As a writer of poetry and short stories, Andrea realized as a teenager that her writing could be so much more. She combined her two great loves - writing and music and began her career as a songwriter.
She met her husband Edwin, a jazz musician, in NYC, there they wrote songs for several recordings with Times Square Church. Together they have written numerous songs and church musicals. They have been married for over eleven years and have been blessed with two children.
Andrea is now booking dates to minister in music for 2008. She is available for special music opportunities, praise and worship leading, coffeehouses, retreats, and special events.
I've grown up in the church, seen a lot of good, and seen a lot of bad. My family has always been very involved in church - leadership, teachers, and directors. I've even worked in the church; working behind the scenes in a church is a WHOLE lot di...

What's God saying to you??

There's a lot going on in this world, and it seems a lot more to come. I hear a lot of people saying that God has been showing them stuff in scripture, and speaking to them in their quiet time, even talking to them in dreams.
What's God saying to...

MY GOD IS A GOD OF MIRACLES
I have sung songs of all kind ever since I learned to talk.
Never have I been very confident in speaking.
I have to admit that the Lords Holy Spirit has spoke to many through me while ministering in song, and I am thankful.
My love is all for Jesus, and I am thankful that everyday I am learning and falling deeper in love with Him every day.
It still takes my breath away to think back at all the times God intervened in my life, even before I gave myself to Him. He saw me as what I could be and saved my life many times.
I have had several people tell me that God does not perform miracles anymore {including my pastor}. I always thought with out speaking out loud,"You must not know the Jesus I know". I was always afraid to speak up.
1Co 12:28 In the church God has appointed first apostles, next prophets, third teachers, then those who perform miracles, then those who have the gift of healing, then those who help others, those who are managers, and those who can speak in a number of languages.
My first memory of my own experience of the love and precious mercy of Jesus was when I was five years old. "I won't get into details here - I'll write it in my blog because it is so important for ALL PEOPLE to know NOW what Jesus has done in my life and the lives of others around me.
So please take a moment to read my blog today.
I pray that you will receive a blessing just from knowing that Jesus IS REAL and YES! PRAISE HIM! HE DOES STILL DO MIRACLES TODAY!

I was particularly captured by this verse from Isaiah that came through my email devotion this morning. Feeling compelled by the Spirit, I thought I would pass it on to my friends
here.
Love in Christ,
