My kiddos. They love life and love God without apology. They are who they are with nothing to hide. They work hard, play hard, and are quick to ask forgiveness when they mess up. They're also quick with a kind word and a hug. They make me want to be a better person.

Healing Promises (2008)
Facing a new threat.
When FBI Agent Clint Rollins takes a bullet during a standoff, it might just save his life. But not even the ugly things he's seen during his years working in the Crimes Against Children Unit could prepare him for the overwhelming powerlessness of hospital tests revealing an unexpected diagnosis. If only Sara weren't retreating into doctor mode...he needs his wife now more than ever.
Frozen in fear.
Sara Rollins is an oncologist with a mission--beating cancer when she can, easing her patients' suffering at the very least. Now the life of her tall Texan husband is at stake. She never let the odds steal her hope before, but now the question of God's healing promises is personal. Can she hold on to the truth she claimed to believe?
Faith under fire.
As Clint continues to track down a serial kidnapper despite his illness, former investigations haunt his nightmares, pushing him beyond solving the case into risking his life and career. Clint struggles to believe God is still the God of miracles. Especially when he needs not one, but two. Everything in his life is reduced to one all-important question: Can God be trusted?

Ransomed Dreams (2007)
Can Dreams Be Redeemed?
Gracie Ann Lang is being watched by a man who will stop at nothing to hide the truth from her. Having lost the only man she ever loved and the children who were her world, the truth is all Gracie wants - an explanation for what really happened.
She longs to move forward but is bound by chains of fear. Then she meets Steven Kessler, a Crimes Against Children FBI agent assigned to uncover an international plot to kidnap the British Ambassador's daughter. Steven awakens more than memories; he revives the possibility of a life Gracie desires. A life where healing and peace crowd out the nightmares.
But his case and her past are dangerously connected. Suddenly, Gracie must decide if she's able - let alone willing - to pay the required ransom to redeem dreams and restore hope.

Who am I? What a sweeping question. Listing some of the hats I wear ~ wife, homeschool mom, writer, Bible study teacher, chocoholic ~ might give a little insight into who I am. But then again, that's only a small snapshot.
Going deeper, I'd have to say that I'm married to an awesome, incredibly good-looking, and God-honoring man. Together we homeschool three amazing daughters. Some of my favorite moments are the ones I spend laughing, reading, and being goofy with my family.
In my spare time, I love writing stories, teaching teenagers, scrapbooking, playing basketball, and taking walks with my family. The beach is my all-time favorite place to be. Chocolate is my favorite food. I collect teddy bears, tons of books, and dust on my furniture.
But getting to the heart of who I am can be summed up in a few short words. I'm a daughter of the King learning to live and love with laughter. My greatest passion in life is to know God and show others how He heals hearts and how to they can glorify God by enjoying Him forever.
That's why I write, teach, kiss my kiddos, watch sunsets, and keep trying again when I fail.
Please come by the Heart Chocolate website ( www.amywallace.com) or the Defenders of Hope site ( www.defendersofhope.com) and learn more about my books, ways to keep kids safe, and my awesome heavenly Daddy.

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! We filled our plates and hearts at the Wallace home. ;-)
Since we're not a family of shoppers, we spent Black Friday decorating the house for Christmas and I had a ball unpacking candles and memories....

It's fun and heart-warming to read all the Thanksgiving thankful posts! I've done a few in years past too. But this year I started thinking about what I'm thankful I don't have.
So here's my different sort of Thanksgiving list.
Things I'm thank...

It feels like it's been forever and a day since I blogged here! Sorry about that! It's been part crazy writing/ speaking schedule and part back-to-school work. But it's been fun. And I'm excited about working on some new projects. I'm even going home...

Jesus Is The Reason In Bethlehem, God gave to us The source of Christmas joy; A star shown on a miracle: The virgin birth of a boy. He was born both God and man, A Savior for us all, The way to get to our heavenly home, If we just heed His call. So as we shop and spend and wrap And enjoy the Christmas season, Let's keep in mind the sacred truth: Jesus is the reason. By Joanna flowerhs

Greetings Amy,
It sounds like we have several things in common: first and most importantly, our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. I am glad we can be friends. I am here to encourage. So, please read my weekly TGIM! GOOD NEWS. It is a very uplifting way to start your week. You can find it every Monday on my blog. Check out a sample below.
Your friend,
Lewis
GOOD NEWS FOR YOUR WEEK
TGIM! - Thank God It's Monday!
THE WORD IS: Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. Psalms 23:6
THE POINT IS: Surely! David had a definite assurance of God's perpetual care of Him. God's track record was excellent! He had proven His faithfulness by taking care of the lion, the bear, the giant and everything else in David's life. David summed it up as God's goodness and mercy. It was mercy because he didn't deserve it. After all, David had been just another dumb and wayward sheep. Aren't we all? Thankfully, it doesn't depend on our goodness. Only God is good! He delights in showering His goodness upon those who will receive it.
THE APPLICATION IS: You too can be a recipient of God's goodness and mercy. It begins by receiving the source of goodness, Jesus Christ, into your life. Then you must submit to His Lordship so that He can lead you according to His goodness and mercy. As you follow the Lord, His goodness and mercy will follow you. God offers a lifetime guarantee - His goodness and mercy for the rest of your life. So rest assured!

Hi Amy !
Remember Proverbs
says: laughter is like a medicine and marrow to our bones
If you'd like to laugh, there's some few sec videos of men, women, and children hula hooping that i filmed using my hoops. Some walking while hooping, and one eating ice cream while hooping, etc. Its pretty funny and more's to come.
God bless you!
