Wings of Faith Mission, is a non-profit Christian organization, Registered in local government Registered no 159/90 and registered with Union government of India have FCRA[charity number] account 010180223, dedicated to reaching out to people in need with a mission to make a difference in their lives. This Organization founded by Rev Dake Yesu Ratnam in 1976 currently undertakes several projects including 'Home of Hope Orphanage' and ' Health care Camps' evangelism and church planting outreach programs ,conferences ,Basic Teams ,and Literature Distributions


To Establish a Firm Christian Foundation for the less privileged, the vulnerable, the widowed and the needy, pastoral care by lifting Jesus among the Young/Youths, and through ministering Love and Care to all, so that He may draw all to Himself.

The orphanage is running in a rented building it is home to about 40charming and Children from ages 4-16 years. They are loved and cared by a group of Christian family.The family atmosphere strives to cater to both their physical and spiritual needs. Our goal is to give them to every opportunity to reach their full potential, to have the knowledge and ability for a great future.



Why we need this project to our children in India<
*There are 13 million homeless children in India.
*India has 1.1 million street children.
*142 out of 1000 children under the 5 years of age die every year.
*4 out of 5 children never enter to a school in India.
*The estimated population of children in 1996 was 307 million which 30% of Indian population is.
*11,000 children in India die everyday of easily preventable diseases.
*Only 10% of Indian children have normal nutrition.
*More than 400 000 children below age of 14 years are involved in prostitution in India.
*There are 10 million bonded child laborers of these 1 million works in hazardous occupations in Indian villages.
*45 million children were out of primary schools.
*75 000 villages in India do not have even primary schools.
*48.8 million children are illiterate in India (22.3 million boys, 26.5 million girls in the age group of 6-11)
*Out of 1000 children who enter class one, only 23 reach class 8.
*Especially, rural pastors' children suffer more than orphan children, for food and good education and care.
*Village Gospel workers children are unprivileged, as they live far away

Home of Hope Orphanage Needs :- It needs to purchase five[5] acres of land to build an Orphanage building, a School building ,and an ITC [Industrial Training Center/Vocational Training College /nursing Institute ].The children can receive computer skills, carpentry, mechanics, nursing and lab technician courses at the ITC. These are the most beneficial courses for obtaining jobs or self-employment in the area.

Consistent support for food, clothes, medications, school supplies is needed.
Monthly individual child sponsorship is available
Dining hall, tables, chairs, beds and linens are needed
Here are some examples:-

$25 US can feed one child for a month
$25 US can buy a child's school books for the year
$10 US can provide a pair of clothes for a Child
$10 US can pay for one square yard of the orphanage they need to build
$ 2,500 US will pay to build a room to house 6-8 orphan/destitute children -and a total 40 rooms are needed in all for orphanage and School
