What To Expect
"Tawana" writes and performs songs that have a unique way of sharing with others the struggles, victories, celebrations, praises, and just a "normal" day in various chapters of her life. Like a good book, with God's hand-turning the pages, she invites her audience to take a look at life through her eyes. Attending one of "Tawana's" concerts is more of an experience rather than just another show. Her music & original lyrics go straight to the heart. Whether it's a public event, a Christian music venue or bible based church, "Tawana" shares her faith woven within the context of her songs. This is well received by her audience which often leads to common ground and ministry.

CD Project and Radio (Past & Present)
"Tawana" released her first music project "Just Sing!" at the end of November 2007. She had the project produced by "Jeff Nelson Productions" in Franklin (Nashville), TN. Due to this step of faith, God has given "Tawana" favor in having her music reach more people by means of traditional and internet radio. Shortly, after the release of her project, 88.1 FM in Kansas picked her song "Keep Christ In Christmas" as the #1 Christmas Song of 2007. Also, three of her songs have received U.S. & International radio airplay at several radio stations in 2008 & 2009. In 2010 & 2011, "Tawana" received radio airplay of her songs on FM stations in OK, TX and IN as well as on internet radio.
Speaking Certification & Other Ministry Opportunities
"Tawana" was certified as a Speaker/Singer in 2009 through Stonecroft Ministries, a national women's ministry whose headquarters are in Kansas City, MO.
Recently, Tawana co promoted an event (which she started) called the "Tri County Wild Fire Benefit Concert". She, along with eight other artists/bands and a non profit organization came together to raise money for wild fire victims in Montgomery, Grimes, & Waller County, TX (in & around the N.W. part of Houston). "Tawana" started this fundraiser as Texas had been hit really hard by the wild fires this past summer.
Booking
Currently, "Tawana" is booking for the rest of 2011 as well as 2012 in her local area as well as out of state. She is available for family friendly events and "Christ Centered" church and or ministry events.
