"Tawana's" music is honest, heartfelt expressions of life happening along the journey."Tawana" writes and performs songs that have a unique way of sharing with others the struggles, victories, celebrations, praises, and just a "normal" day in various chapters of her life. Like a good book, with God's hand-turning the pages, she invites her audience to take a look at life through her eyes.

Attending one of "Tawana's" concerts, is more of an experience rather than just another show. Her lyrics go straight to the heart. She then, allows God to take over from there. Whether it's a secular or a christian venue, "Tawana" shares her faith woven within the context of her songs. And she does this in a Christ-like manner. This is well received by her audience which often leads to common ground and ministry.

Through the pages of her journey, God has blessed "Tawana" for her desire to honor him through her life and music ministry. The past two years, she was nominated for the Momentum Awards (Indep. Christian Artist Award)in 3 categories: Contemporary Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (2006-Living Water & 2007-Dancin' On The Clouds), and Female Vocalist of The Year. She released her first music project "Just Sing!" back in November of 2007 which she had produced in Nashville, TN. Due to this step of faith, God has given "Tawana" favor in having her music reach more people by means of traditional and internet radio. "Tawana" has been receiving airplay on traditional radio stations in several different markets as well with her songs: "Just Sing" (Made the Top 10 @ 10 at one station), "Dancin' On The Clouds", and "Keep Christ In Christmas". "Tawana" was excited when 88.1 FM in Kansas picked "Keep Christ In Christmas" as the #1 Christmas Song of 2007. And the song was received airplay in several other states during the month of December which included: ME, MI, CA, MA, TX, KY, & SC. "Tawana" considers it an honor for others to consider her for these opportunities of recognition. But she's quick to say that "It's All About Jesus" and making him the "Star". Also,"Tawana" has just partnered with Covenant Eyes which is endorsed by "Focus On The Family". She is excited about joining forces with this ministry to help others who may struggle with internet related addictions, or may just want to have internet integrity/responsibility in their home or workplace.

"Tawana's" desire is to allow God to use her to help others through the music he's given her. She strives to honor God with her talents and life as she continues through the pages of this journey that he's chosen for her.

"Tawana" is available for all Christian/Church & Family Friendly community concerts/special events. She is also available to M.C. events combined with sharing her music. She is available to perform in as well as outside of the Houston area (& will perform out of state as requested).
