I hate this question. Take Judith Edwards and Sandra Glahn (her nonfiction works); toss in a little more stream of consciousness and a bit of sarcasm. That's kinda me.

My greatest desire is to point others to God; to help them capture a tangible relationship with Him that permeates their lives every day. God is in what we consider mundane. I want to help others see the mundane as divine.
I've lived in a ton of places and worn just as many hats. All of these experiences are fuel for my writing. The hat I wear most prominently is that of mother and wife. God has blessed me with the perfect man for me and two gorgeous children. They are my life work ... and the tools God uses most frequently to teach me about Himself.
My writing has appeared in FaithWriters Magazine, Epic Inspiration and The Grapevine. I am Contributing Editor for Mothering Matters, a local newsletter of MOPS, Intl. I am also a managing editor of Christian Children's Book Review, winner of two 2007 Litty Awards: Best Christian LitBlogger and Best KidLit Blogger. Current projects include a number of freelance articles and two proposed nonfiction books.

It has been said we need to believe it all depends on God, but live like it all depends on us. But how do you separate what you think from how you act? Doesn't our behavior stem directly from our beliefs?
All I know is the harder I work, the more ...

Those of us who have been believers for a number of years can sometimes glaze over when reading the Bible. Been there, read that, already know the intended application. But sometimes a familiar passage can pop right off the page and open wide your ey...

I've had two unusual jobs that taught me much the same thing. Millions of people around the world have one or both of these jobs, so they're not rare titles, but they are unusual.
Being a missionary is definitely odd. First of all, you have to wor...

It was "healthy bodies week" at Ellie's preschool. They talked about what's good for you and what's not. Exercise, brushing your teeth, cheese, yogurt, fruit and vegetables: all good. Candy, ice cream and fast food: not good. In the midst of this dis...

I covet your prayers. All is well, as it always is when God is sovereign, but the reasons to pray continue to multiply.
We've had much happen to and in our family recently. The kids seem to be growing at exponential rates, making our responsibilit...
