Hi! I'm Susan Page Davis. I'm a wife, a mother of six and grandmother of six. I'm also a writer.
I have twenty-seven books in print: ten historical romances with Heartsong Presents; a young adult fantasy, Feather, with JourneyForth, and a contemporary young adult, Sarah's Long Ride; seven romantic suspense: Frasier Island, Finding Marie, and Inside Story with Harvest House, Hearts in the Crosshairs, On a Killer's Trail, Witness, and Just Cause with Love Inspired Suspense; and three cozy mysteries, Homicide at Blue Heron Lake, Treasure at Blue Heron Lake, and Impostors at Blue Heron Lake, from Heartsong Presents Mysteries, compiled in the anthology Mainely Mysteries, from Barbour Publishing. I also have several contemporary romances with Heartsong: Trail to Justice, and an Alaska 3-set: Always Ready, Fire & Ice, and Polor Opposites. My longer westerns are The Ladies' Shooting Club series, releasing from Barbour. Look for The Sheriff's Surrender, The Gunsmith's Gallantry, and The Blacksmith's Bravery. Another book to watch for will be out in July: The Crimson Cipher, a historical suspense from Summerside Press. More coming soon!
I worked from my home for more than 20 years as a contracted writer for a daily newspaper. In 1999, I started writing fiction seriously. I sold several short stories to magazines.
Heartsong Presents bought Protecting Amy in 2003 and released it in 2004. Since then they have bought about 20 more books from me. My New Hampshire historicals trio released in 2008, and my Wyoming contemporary and Alaska threesome came out in 2009 and 2010.
I'm very excited about my romantic suspense books. Frasier Island and Finding Marie were great fun to write, and I hope you'll enjoy reading them. They are now available through my website; susanpagedavis.com. The third book, Inside Story, released in 2009. Two of these were selections of Crossings Book Club.
Right now I'm working on book 3 of The Ladies' Shooting Club and also a new cozy mystery, Pieces of the Past. That one will be Book #6 in a Patchwork Mysteries series coming from Guideposts, with different authors for each book. The first will release this summer.
Do be sure to visit my own website: www.susanpagedavis.com
I give away a free book (or two or three) each month.
I am thrilled that God has allowed me to help out with my family's expenses and children's education by writing books.
Have a great writing and reading day!
Susan

Glad to hear your holiday was blessed.
We went away as well. I didn't go online at all, but brought my laptop and got some writing done.
The girls played outside a lot.
And I got some rest. :)

Hi Susan, Thought I'd drop by and find out how your Thanksgiving was.
Ours was quiet and restful. We went away and were in a kind of isolated place. The girls got to play outside a lot while we were there and I did get some writing done. But I also got rested.
