Hi, my name is Rick and you have found my Art Gallery page here at Shoutlife, Scenic Earth Studios Fine Art Gallery.
I have worked in the Software Industry for 16 years now as a Developer / Web Designer / Database Developer designing and building software. I have been painting since I was 13 years old and love to create art. Not only is my art something I enjoy doing, it is the story of my life in pictures, paintings and memories that have touched me and others as well. The work I do for corporate America will easily be forgotten but hopefully the things I do for Christ and with my art talents will endure the test of time.
I love Southwest Art, photography, travelling out west and spending time with friends and family. I have been saved since I was nine years old grew up in a small Baptist Church that was like an extended family to me.
I am a self- taught artist and love to paint and create art work that moves people and stirs the soul. I want to illustrate bible characters and bring them to life as well as create wildlife, southwest art and fine art

I'm in the process of changing my blog for fall.
right now It's a beautiful night sky but soon it's will have falling leaves LOL.
Did you see the premiere pictures I uploaded?
The red carpet is the best part LOL See if you can tell what is different about it if you haven't seen the pictures yet.

I think the Lord is opening the door for some music making in my life. This year I've written about I think five songs which is very new for me. It's very exciting!
I also have gotten back into video editing on my computer.
Eventually I want to take one of my finished songs when one of them is finished being recorded and mixed, and make some sort of a scenic fairytalish music video with it, kind of like Enya's style.

Hey there.... long time no hello's! How has Rick been doing lately? Did you enjoy your summer, or do you wonder if it even came, like I do? Summer seems to fly by faster every year.... the rain came to visit us more often than the sun did.... you too?
I guess that's a major reason why our joy (happiness) should never be in the circumstances around us... especially in this day and age! Still, I miss the good old days when the seasons were as they should be, and not so messed up.

How Long has it been since I've talked to you I don't even know.
How have you been?
I've recently just finished a premiere party with family and friend that was about a play we did years ago and I edited it in my video editer and put it on a DVD.
Everyone was really excited about it and enjoyed the movie and the party.
We got pictures on the red carpet which was actually red wrapping paper but LOL....a lot prettier and shinier than a rug LOL.
I posted some pictures of the premiere on my photos section of my shoutlife page if you'd like to see them.
I also interviewed poeple with my video camera and am editing what I filmed that day on my computer and making an extra bonus DVD to give out to anyone who was at the party.
I can't wait to finish it. I'm also going to post the movie up on youtube when I'm done =)
