Hello and THANK YOU for wanting to know about PRAISEFEST and how it all got started. In April of 2006, we purchased a lovely 22 acre farm and just KNEW that it was only by God's grace and many blessings that we were ever able to do so.....and then to have Him allow US to call this OUR FARM when it was always His....WHAT A BLESSING! One day while sitting outside and looking at all the beauty and splendor before me as I gazed at the fields, I realized that this farm is made for ONE thing.... to bring glory to God. It is sooooooo beautiful ... the hillsides being a perfect layout for a natural ampitheater and you TRULY feel the presence of the Lord as you see His amazing handiwork. As I looked out at the pasture,my son pulled up with his stereo blaring and the skylights began to shake and rattle....it was then that I realized....and actually had a vision of people all over the field PRAISING GOD....I knew at that point that that was the whole purpose of us being blessed with this farm...to use it to His glory ....it was then that we began to make plans to have Contemporary Christian as well as Praise & Worship bands come in for a weekend to share their music ministry. I also knew that it was to be a FREE & OPEN event but who would want to come play for free? You know the story of "Field of Dreams, right? You know, if you build it.....they will come....well, that sums up the background of PRAISEFEST! We cleared the field and built the stage and there were countless hours spent organizing the event....but GOD put it all together and IT WAS PHENOMENAL!!!
As with any event, there are always things to be scheduled and arranged that you in a "normal" mind-set think...HOW CAN WE DO THIS....guess what...YOU DO IT IN FAITH AND TRUST, BELIEVE AND RECEIVE WHAT GOD HAS IN STORE...THIS IS FOR HIS GLORY AND HONOR SO HE WILL ALLOW ALL THINGS TO WORK IN FAVOR OF SOMETHING TO EDIFY HIM! We have already established and conmfirmed food vendors and port-a-potties and stuff to bring in and of course, a FABBBBBULOUS SOUND & LIGHTING CREW....and God provides the means for it all so this can continue to remain a FREE AND OPEN CONCERT EVENT TO GLORIFY GOD!!! IT IS PLANNED FOR THREE GLORIOUS DAYS ....AUGUST 08-10th....so MARK YOUR CALENDARS, YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS IT!!! So far, we already have some AMAZING bands booked and are adding more to the schedule, so plan to come and BE BLESSED! MUSIC, NATURE, and FELLOWSHIP as we all bask in the SONshine....how awesome is THAT!!

So FAR, WE HAVE SEVERAL BANDS BOOKED TO APPEAR AT THIS YEARS EVENT!!! IT IS GOING TO BE A MAJORLY BLESSED EVENT, PLEASE COME AND JOIN US !!!
