Hey! Thanks for visiting my page here on ShoutLife.
Personally: My name is Marty.
I am married to Trina.
Our dog is Nedd.
I like to read, write, drink coffee and engage in conversation or dialogue about life, faith and culture.
I am creating a online radio program called Humble O Radio.
Professionally:
I am a voice over artist, meaning, I lend my voice to Radio/TV and Web commercials, Businesses for their on hold messages, documentaries and corporate projects. While I have done this for over 20 years, I only recently made it my FOCUS.
Most people who are my friend on ShoutLIfe met me while I was performing stand up comedy, which I do not do regularly any longer, but for six years that's how I made a living. Fun, and I met a TON of really great people but I really don't care for the travel.
From 1986 - 2002 I was in radio and worked in a lot of great cities including Columbus-Oh, Cincinnati, Dayton, Parkersburg, WV and Tampa. I also worked in Toledo, OH.
While in radio I did everything imaginable from on air personality, sales, engineering (minor), local management, regional management for a large radio group to helping to build a station from the ground up.
So that is a little about me. I'd love to read a bit about you.
If you know of any organizations, businesses or churches that could use my voice on their on hold phone system then I would be grateful to learn about that opportunity.

Just checking in to see how you are doing. Wanted to let you know that you were on my mind. I have some down time until the end of Jan which is such a blessing! Yeh! My schedule was completely crazy this year so to spend time with family is wonderful.

My profuse and sincere apologies for offending you or looking like I was spamming. We use that same welcome message whenever we add friends, with a link to our site and some nifty tag line. (If you saw something else posted, by all means please mail message me and let me know what it was. I commented to someone here in the house at halftime- "Here's where Michigan lets the other team run away with the game." I wish I had beeen wrong...Thanks for not rubbing it in too much this year. My adopted SEC team Ole Miss had a decent year. I'll have a team to root for on New Year's Day afterall. Talk at ya later.

oh shmarty, you know me better than that! I just feel like we gave our country over to satan with this man. Not saying to lose hope or faith at all, but this man has NO Godly principles. I just see this country in a steady decline the past 10 years or more. Morals are getting worse and worse...we're getting way near the end my friend. What's wrong is becoming right and vice versa. Just gotta keep trusting and looking to God. I've not lost any faith in God...but this country is not the same anymore. Just my opinion.

I enjoyed your great Happy Friday message -- I so agree that loneliness should never exist in the Church, yet it often does! Somehow, we mess the message of Christ when that malady is present in the Body!

Thanks for yor blog comment, Marty. I appreciate your opinion and please know I don't automatically assume ALLLL Republicans are morally better than ALLLLL Democrats. There are always exceptions and I don't like to stereotype. I hope I didn't come across that way in my blog - I was upset with Obama's personal morals, not the Democratic party as a whole.

Crazy busy! Working at the nursing home part-time still...hubby got on at the railroad; started in May...they started layoffs early this year, but since they have system-wide seniority, he is able to go to any location to work where he is able to hold a job. So he is working about three hours from us for now. My kids are getting older...I'm getting older..What about YOU guys???
