I am a writer!! It's taken God alot of years to get that into my head. I wrote my first song at age 12 called Memories (not sure what kind of memories a 12 year old really has) but that was the beginning of what's become a passion in my life. I walked away from writing in my college years and started to feel the tug again as I entered the work force. Since then, I have attended workshops and classes to develop my craft.

In 2005, Sharon Huckel of Hananeel Ministries recorded two of my songs on her CD project, Courts of Praise. In 2006, Karen Gillespie and I won the grand prize at Write About Jesus for our first ever co-write, You Sweep Me Off My Feet. SInce that time I've had the privilege of writing in Nashville with some great writers and have learned a great deal. Also, in 2006 Susanne Bais in Holland recorded four songs on her CD project, Remember Me, including You Sweep Me Off My Feet.

It's been exciting to watch how God is guiding my music and I'm humbled to hear the impact the music has had in people's lives.

My goal is to always write from my heart because that somehow seems to touch the hearts of others best.
