My Christian given name is Denny DeVaughn Grimes ....I am known as Denny Grimes.
I am a Christian singer/songwriter/guitarist and currently have out a CD entitled:
Another Day Closer To Heaven...for which I wrote the music,lyrics and performed the vocals on all 10 songs.
I am 56 years of age and have been performing for well over 43 years...doing the night club and honky tonk venue...that is... until my Lord and Savior called me into His ministry just 10 days shy of my 49th birthday.
I was born again...June 4,Y2K!

I would label my style of gospel music as HonkyTonkGospel...for it is a porte' of Country & Western,Hillbilly,BlueGrass and SouthernRock...coming from years of performing in local bars,night clubs and honky tonks.
I am open for dates to showcase my ministry to churches or any function that is God oriented or biblical in the power of the blood of Jesus Christ...and teach and believe in the Trinity and the death and resurrection of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
