Fighting deep prejudice against her femininity, her choice of vehicle, and even her heritage, Camara Cole is determined to win the mud-bog racing championship this year. Her biggest competition seems also to be her worst enemy. Chase Lamar has been racing mud-boggers as long as Camara, and he grudgingly admits she's the best driver-mechanic he knows. Their rivalry has been long and bitter. But Chase is a new Christian. As he begins to change, he finds his relationship with Camara changing, too. When Camara's vehicle is sabatoged, she naturally blames Chase, despite a growing attraction. Chase must prove his innocence, but evidence points his way. When the smoke clears and the truth is known, will each be able to extend forgiveness, maybe even love?

Four years ago, I joined American Christian Fiction Writers. (Then it was American Christian Romance Writers, ACRW.)
I love classic cars, hotrods, monster trucks, mud-bog racin', and any vehicle that looks sharp and sounds SO loud you can't hear yourself think. Yeah! VRRRROOMMMM! *smiling*
I luv Manx cats, horses, dogs, hummingbirds, chipmunks, raccoons, and all sorts of little critters. Except for gophers. I had a herd of them on the ranch; and the only good thing about them was, I never had to mow my lawn. Only problem was, the little varmints didn't chew the grass nice and even. Oh, the nerve of them. hehe
I've lived in booneyville towns, working on cow/calf ranches for over twenty-five years with my husband of thirty-three years. However, the last ranch we lived on wasn't a cow/calf operation. My husband maintained a famous movie star and her equally famous screen writer husband's get-away house, a replica of an old west town, and several log homes, the largest being 15,000 square feet. Recently we moved down to the city. Talk about cultural whiplash! Yikes! Secretly though ~ I love it! But don't tell anybody, okay? *cheeky grin*
Well, that's all for now.
See ya~~~~~~
