Cascade College Announces Pre-Nursing Program
(PORTLAND, Oregon) - March 19, 2007 - Students wishing to pursue a four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) degree can now complete their first two
years at Cascade College. Beginning fall, 2007, Cascade's Pre-Nursing Program will prepare students to apply for the Nursing Program at Oklahoma Christian University or other B.S. in Nursing programs.
Through an articulation agreement with Oklahoma Christian University, students who complete their Pre-Nursing Program at Cascade College (two years) and are accepted into Oklahoma Christian's Nursing Program, will have all the required prerequisites to begin their third year of coursework for the B.S.N. program at Oklahoma Christian University. "I'm excited about this new development in our science
program. It expands our offerings to students interested in careers in the health care field," stated Dr. Shawn Jones, Academic Dean for Cascade College.
