Welcome to Christian Musician Radio!

Hi, My name is Lee Love and I would like to personally welcome you to Christian Musician Radio. CMR is the result of months of work and encouragement by the wonderful members of the Christian Musician Forum. Christian Musician Radio and Christian Musician Forum are part of the new Christian Musician Network.

Our Purpose
The Christian Musician Forum is a fantastic ministry and has been successful in reaching out to musicians around the world for years. Our primary mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to glorify God in all that we do. It is this mission that drives our desire to extend this ministry through the launch of Christian Musician Radio.

This Would Not Be Possible...
This project started on November 16, 2004, and has been a passion of mine ever since. I admit I underestimated how much work was really involved in launching a professional-sounding radio station. There is no way I could have done this without a lot of prayer. God has opened so many doors in order to make this happen I can't even being to list them all. But there a few people that are also responsible for making this ministry possible and that is the dedication of some very talented brothers in Christ.

Burke Allen - "The Voice Of CMR R@dio"
Burke is a seasoned professional in the radio industry, and without his knowledge, experience and melodious tones, we would not have been able to pull this off. Not only is Burke a real radio consultant, but he also owns his own radio station. His contacts in the industry, and his graciousness and willingness to use those resources to help CMR, have been a godsend. Not only has Burke been a blessing to CMR, but he has become a good friend.

Ed Seals (aka FenderTL5)
I'm not sure where to start, and I know I don't have enough disk space to thank Ed for everything he has done. Ed is CMR's Music and Program Director, and everyday I gain more respect for him and his insight and knowledge of the radio industry. I have learned more from Ed in two months than I could have ever imagined. This is also a good place to mention his patience, and how he demonstrates being indwelt with the Holy Spirit. :) Ed has been my right hand, and his friendship and support are a true blessing.

Now, if teaching me a sophisticated music scheduling system, and giving me a crash course on developing a station format wasn't enough, Ed steps up and blows everyone away by producing a fantastic show called REWIND. This CMR exclusive is written, recorded and produced by Ed. Oh, yeah, he also wrote, played and recorded the theme for the show.

Ralph Niederlander (aka BigRalphN)
Something just about every radio station needs is music, and without Ralph's help in jump-starting our library, there would be a lot of dead air on CMR. Ralph's generous and giving heart, along with his encouragement and willingness to jump right in, has made my job a whole lot easier. Here is a man who emails me to say, "Oh, yeah, I just received confirmation that half a dozen CD's I ordered have been shipped and should be there anyday." Ralph has become a big part of CMR and I can't imagine not having him as a member of the team.

Glen Giles (aka Ultimate Garage Band)
What can you say about a brother who has a heart the size of Mount Rushmore? Glen has been so generous, and his ideas on how to support and grow CMR R@dio have been fantastic. Glen also has a heart for the Lord and a passion for music. His shy, meek music suggestions - oops, wait, wrong guy. :) OK, his honest and forthcoming pleas for less ZOEgirl, and his willingness to provide great rock'n'roll for the music library have been terrific. But, just wait, he has more in store for CMF/CMR.

Jose P. Ortiz (aka Dogwithfleas)
As a result of working with him, whenever I think about being a godly man, I think of Jose. This is a man who always has a kind word; a Christian who is right there everytime I turn around, ready to encourage, support and to reflect Christ's love. The lesson that I am always reminded of after reading Jose's messages is, "it's is NOT about me." Having Jose involved in this project was an unexpected blessing, and he has given me more than he will know.

The Moderators
The moderators have been my rock, and I couldn't ask for a better team with which to work. These guys hold me accountable, and yet are always there with encouragement. Most people have no idea how much time and effort this dedicated group gives the rest of us. The Entire Beta Team
And finally, thanks to the entire beta team, who have tolerated me hounding them with endless questions, and making constant changes to the system. I can only imagine what they think when I start off on one of my "OK, now try this. What about 32k vs. 24k, does it sound any better? Can you install these five audio players and tell me if they work ?" Thanks again for being guinea pigs and putting up with my endless changes. Site note: We are still trying to get all the bugs out, and have a lot of new features that will be added in the next few weeks. So, please excuse any errors or problems you may encounter. If you do find any problems, please post a message in the forum or email me.
