CAPA stands for Central Alabama Performing Arts. Located in Chilton County, CAPA is a troupe of talented individuals dedicated to bringing the arts to Central Alabama through the performance of plays, musicals, art exhibits, and many other activities involving the arts and the surrounding community.
CAPA is a member-driven organization and performs based on fundraisers and donations. Thank you to everyone in our community who has made it possible for CAPA to continue to provide Alabama with quality programming!

Arts and Crafts Festival

WHAT: Food, Fun, Games, Arts and Crafts from all over central Alabama!
WHEN: Saturday October 11, 2008; 8-6
WHERE: Chilton County Fairgrounds
WHY: Because we support the artisans of central Alabama and encourage family fun! Admission is only $2 for children age 3 - 12, $5 for teens and adults!
Paddy Wack Arts and Crafts Festival celebrates the artisans of central Alabama. Artists and craftsmen sell and demonstrate their talents in categories such as woodworking, glassware, jewelry, the traditional arts, textiles and more. This year's festival will happen on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the Chilton County Fairgrounds from 8 AM to 6 PM. Admission is $2.00 for children ages 3-12, and $5.00 for adults. Come to Paddy Wack and enjoy good food, good music, entertainment for the children and, of course, the arts and crafts! See you there!

Booths are located inside the Pavilion at the Chilton County Fairgrounds. Outdoor booths will be granted by special request. Booths measure 10 feet by 10 feet. All structures used for displays must be provided by each artisan. Cost of one booth is $75.00. Event will begin at 8:00 AM on Saturday, October 11, 2008, and will end at 6:00 PM on the same day. CAPA is responsible for event advertising, event coordination and public relations. All requests can be made by emailing Sarah Jackson at abigtodo@yahoo.com.
