The Art House of Katy began early in 2009 as a cooperative agreement between Adam Herring and Trisha Chavez. Their original intention was to begin an online bookstore catering to self-published authors, but as of late, has decided to pursue other ventures that may be more beneficial to the Christian art's community. They've regrouped as Out Of This World Publications, a not-for profit literary publisher that releases "Out Of This World", a free online e-zine that offers aspiring, emerging, unknown, and well-established artists and writer's a place to publish their work online.
