My inspiration came from reading my first 'adult' historical titled, Tilly trotter by Catherine Cookson when I was 14 yrs. I was swept into another time and it gave me the love of historicals ever since.
I've always enjoyed reading from a child. Edith Blyton's books were magical to me and it seemed natural for me to write stories as a child. My head has always been full of characters and settings and plots. It was very logical for me to write novels, but I didn't start being serious about it until I was 25 and at home with my babies. :o)
