2009 recap: Our third national radio single "Open Season" charted on it's first week out on R&R Most Added Christian Rock and R&R Most Increased Christian Rock. College radio played us on 200 stations across the US and Canada. On Christian radio so far in 2007 we've had play in 350 markets and hit #1 at M88 Albuquerque NM, Top 5 at YES FM Toledo OH and Top 5 at WBVM Tampa FL. Air Five founding members Ben and Michael left summer 2008 to pursue ministry courses at their church and we wish them well in this new calling. The music and ministry of Air Five continues with the addition of Chris drums/vocals, Jeremy bass, Thomas lead guitar/vocals and Stephen vocals/guitar. The new lineup started performing shows January 2009 and response has been incredible and a new CD is in the works for 2010.

Air Five's fresh approach to both music and ministry is evident as their music journeys through a deluge of human emotion. From conquering the shackles of hopelessness in "Hold My Hand" to surrendering yourself to God's will in "Write My Story," to the powerful declaration of "Here's Me Letting Go," the band delivers infectious harmonies alongside a rock infused pop bounce, akin to bands like Relient K, Blink 182, Green Day and New Found Glory, while carefully establishing their own identity in today's crowded music scene.

Air Five's debut national release "Write My Story" on Audio Frenzy Records (Infinity Music Distribution) captures snapshots of life. The disc was produced by former Audio A member / Dove & Grammy winner Barry Blair (Bleach, Candlefuse) and mixed by Dove & Grammy "Producer of the Year" nominee Brian Hardin (Manic Drive, Paul Alan, Jill Parr, These Five Down). The track "Love You More" features former PETRA bass player Greg Bailey on cello.

The first radio single "I Will Carry You" received play in over 350 markets on Christian radio and was played on 200 or 300 college radio stations it was sent to.
