For as long as we can remember we have been singing southern gospel music. As children we would go to bed listening to a stack of records on the record player. We would fall asleep listening to the music of "The Happy Goodman's, Rambo's, Lanny Wolf Trio, Bill Gaither, and many, many more. Southern gospel music runs deep in our roots and once southern gospel music gets in your bones, you are never the same! With our father (Ross Green) being an "old time preacher man" and our mother ( Shirley Green) singing like Vestal Goodman there was nothing that our family could do but sing, sing, sing. In the 70's our family traveled the country and were known as the "Singing Green's". We recorded several albums and then our father settled down to pastor. But our family would still sing at special events. To pastor Green there was no more special event than his children coming together and singing. There was nothing he enjoyed more. With six children who could sing and play instruments, he knew he could have a concert anytime, anywhere. In 1989 Ross Green went home to be with our Lord and Savior. But his memory lives on through his children's ministry. Now Brenda Denney, Elaine Parks, and Steve Green, (two sisters and their brother) have come together once again to carry the torch and do what God has called us to do....SING. It is our desire to sing and minister to people and expect lives to be changed by the ministry we've heard. You will feel the anointing as our trio blesses you with our music. You will love our southern gospel style, close family harmony and the fun that comes with our trio. Our mission is for everyone that hears our songs to leave a changed person and to realize the power in southern gospel music. And for people to want more of God in their lives, there's something about hearing a southern gospel song that sends little "do dads" all over you. Get ready to be blessed and keep your ears tuned to the sounds of 2nd generation. We look forward to meeting all of you here on earth or someday in heaven.
